What happens to your info
What I collect
Your email, the GitHub repo link if you give one, the time you signed up, and your signup number.
Why
To tell you when Pencils Down is ready, to honor the first 100 perk, and to see how much interest there is. That's it.
What I do with your GitHub link
I store the text of the link. A link doesn't give me access to your code, even for a private repo. I don't clone, fetch, scan, or open it. If Pencils Down launches, nothing will touch your code without asking you first.
Where it's stored
In a private Google Sheet in my Google Workspace account. Confirmation emails are sent through Resend. Spam protection is provided by Cloudflare Turnstile.
Who I share it with
Nobody. I don't sell it, rent it, or hand it to anyone else.
Getting removed
Use the removal link in your confirmation email, or email hello@pencilsdown.dev and say "remove me." I delete your entry from the list. Resend, the email service, may keep a short-lived log of the confirmation email it sent.
